The "accurate" seeding would be


1 Bama 2 Georgia 3 Michigan 4 Cinci

But people would have moaned about two SEC teams at the top. Matchups would have been the same. There are no conspiracies here. The two best teams in the country are obviously Georgia and Bama and they just happen to be in the same conference.
